What is a ventilated facade?

The ventilated façade is a constructive enclosure solution , equipped with a ventilated chamber between the external cladding plates and the internal support or partition.
The ventilation chamber favors the exit and entry of air through its openings (starting and crowning) as well as between the joints of the panels.

The origin of the ventilated façade system arises from the need to protect buildings against snow and rain , where a double-layer system is proposed, consisting of two enclosing sheets with a separation to form a chamber allowing the circulation of a flow of air that eliminates any type of humidity.
